Together detection lets bluumie notice when you're physically together, so your Bloom can grow without you doing anything.
How it works
- While bluumie is open, it checks whether you and your person are close to each other, using your phone's approximate location.
- If you also turn on Bluetooth detection, nearby Bluetooth signals make it more accurate.
- When bluumie thinks you were together, it asks "Were you together?" so you can confirm before the time counts towards your Bloom.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't run in the background — only while bluumie is open.
- It never shares where you are. Your person only learns whether you were together. See How does bluumie protect my privacy?
Turning it on or off
Go to You → Privacy and switch Together detection (and optionally Bluetooth detection) on or off at any time. Both of you need it on for detection to work. If you prefer, log time manually instead.
